Corporate Industrial Automation Training in Dubai

Hands-on PLC, HMI, SCADA, drive and instrumentation training for maintenance and engineering teams, mapped to the controllers and panels your plant actually runs.

About This Programme for UAE Teams

When a line stops, the clock starts. Many plants in the UAE rely on one or two people who really understand the PLC logic, and everyone else waits for them or for the vendor. Corporate industrial automation training Dubai sessions from Solve Tech close that gap. We train electricians, technicians and engineers to read ladder logic, go online with a controller, trace a fault through I/O, reset and tune variable frequency drives, and make sense of HMI and SCADA alarms. Teams practise on lab panels and, where it is safe, on your own equipment. The programme suits manufacturing, water, utilities, oil and gas support and building services teams. Afterwards, more of your people can diagnose a fault before calling for help, record what they changed, and talk to integrators in the same technical language.

Corporate industrial automation training is instructor-led training for a company's maintenance, operations and engineering staff on PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs and field instruments. It focuses on the brands, programs and fault patterns found on the client's own site, with practical work on lab panels.

What Your Company Gains

  • Shorter fault-finding time because more technicians can go online with a PLC
  • Less dependence on a single expert or on vendor call-outs for routine issues
  • Safer changes to logic and drive parameters with proper backups and records
  • Operators who respond to SCADA and HMI alarms correctly
  • Better conversations with system integrators during upgrades and handovers
  • A clearer picture of which staff are ready for advanced responsibilities

Who This Training Is For

  • Maintenance electricians and instrument technicians
  • Electrical and automation engineers
  • Control room and process operators
  • Facility management engineers looking after building plant
  • Production and maintenance supervisors

Training Modules You Can Choose

Pick the modules that match your team. Each programme is built from these blocks after a short training needs call.

PLC fundamentals and ladder logic

Focus: Reading and writing basic logic so technicians understand what the controller is doing.

  • Digital and analogue I/O
  • Contacts, coils, timers and counters
  • Addressing and tag structure
  • Going online and monitoring logic
PLC troubleshooting on live systems

Focus: A methodical approach to finding faults without causing new ones.

  • Fault codes and diagnostic buffers
  • Forcing and its risks
  • Program backups and version control
  • Tracing faults from field device to logic
HMI configuration and use

Focus: Building and maintaining operator screens that make sense.

  • Screens, tags and navigation
  • Alarm setup and acknowledgement
  • Trends and recipes
  • User access levels
SCADA systems and alarm management

Focus: How plant-wide supervision, data logging and alarms fit together.

  • SCADA architecture and servers
  • Historical data and reports
  • Alarm priorities and flooding
  • Remote access and basic security practice
Variable frequency drives

Focus: Setting up, tuning and troubleshooting drives on pumps, fans and conveyors.

  • Motor nameplate data and parameters
  • Control modes and ramps
  • Common fault codes
  • Harmonics and wiring good practice
Instrumentation and process control

Focus: Field instruments and loops that feed the control system.

  • Pressure, flow, level and temperature transmitters
  • 4-20 mA loops and HART basics
  • Calibration practice
  • PID loop tuning
Industrial networks

Focus: Communication between controllers, drives and supervisory systems.

  • Profinet, EtherNet/IP and Modbus overview
  • Network addressing
  • Diagnosing communication faults

Tailored to Your Team

A training needs analysis starts with your equipment list: PLC families and firmware, programming software versions, drive models, SCADA platform and network types. We review a sample of recent breakdowns and ask which faults take longest to fix. The trainer then builds exercises around those platforms, sets the level separately for electricians and engineers, and includes your site safety and lock-out rules. Where possible, we use anonymised copies of your own programs.

Delivery Options

In-house at your premises

Training at your plant lets technicians work on the controllers and drives they maintain, with live exercises planned around production and permit-to-work rules.

At our Deira training centre

Our Deira centre is the better choice for wiring and fault-injection practice, because lab panels can be stopped, rewired and faulted without risk to production.

Live online for distributed teams

Live online works well for software topics such as ladder logic, HMI design and SCADA configuration, with screen sharing and guided exercises on simulation software.

Programme Formats

One-day awareness workshop

For supervisors and operators who need to understand what PLCs, drives and SCADA do and how to report faults clearly.

Technician troubleshooting bootcamp

An intensive multi-day block of fault-finding on lab panels, focused on I/O, drives and diagnostics.

Engineer programming track

Deeper sessions on structured programming, HMI design, SCADA configuration and network setup for engineers.

Platform upgrade training

Short, focused sessions for teams moving to a new controller family, software version or SCADA system.

Assessment and Reporting for HR

Participants complete a pre-training skills check and a practical fault-finding task at the end, usually on a lab panel with injected faults. The trainer records attendance and gives HR and the maintenance manager a report on each participant's practical readiness and suggested next steps. Solve Tech certificates are issued on completion; KHDA attestation applies only to eligible courses.

Corporate Industrial Automation Training: FAQs

Can you train on the PLC brands we use?

Usually yes, provided we know the platforms in advance. Tell us your controller families and software versions during the needs call, and we will confirm which can be covered on lab panels and which are better trained on your own equipment.

Do you deliver automation training on site outside Dubai?

Yes, we deliver on site across the UAE on request. Practical exercises on live plant are agreed with your safety team before training starts.

What is the minimum group size?

Ask us, as it depends on the format and the number of lab panels needed. Hands-on sessions work better with smaller groups, so we may suggest splitting a large team.

Can training run around shifts and shutdowns?

Yes. We can split groups across shift patterns, run early or late sessions, and align practical work on your equipment with planned shutdowns. Ramadan timings are also taken into account.

Will participants receive certificates?

Yes, each participant who completes the training and its assessment receives a Solve Tech certificate. KHDA attestation is available only for eligible courses, which we will confirm in the proposal.
